Fall is such a beautiful time for family photos! This Box Elder fall family session was no different. The Haddock family was so fun. The kids were rambunctious and full of energy and I loved it! Masha’s boys are so adorable. It may have made for some stressful moments for mom, but it sure did make for some cute photos!
This location is one of my favorites. There is so much variability in one place. There’s an open field and trees, wooden fences and tall grass. There’s also a large log pile that makes a good spot for getting different levels in and angles in your photos. In the fall it’s the beautiful backdrop of oranges and reds, and in the spring and summer the tall green grass is gorgeous as well.
Toward the end of their session, we took some “silly” pictures and let the kids stick out their tongues and be as funny as they wanted. It’s fun to do that for the kids, because it seems to always be their favorite part of getting pictures taken.
I love getting pictures of just mom and dad together during the session because it’s not very often that it gets to happen. I think it also helps remember the spark between husband and wife, no matter how long they’ve been married, to snuggle up close and give a kiss.
