I had so much fun with the Sant Family. It was a beautiful evening! It was so great to be able to be on their property and see the beauty around them. We did their session in Clifton Idaho on their homestead. What fun cherished pictures it makes when you are able to do your session somewhere that means something special to you especially a place that has been passed down through generations. I love to meet my clients in places that they love! It makes them more comfortable and I’m able to see them in their element. I also love sharing some of those places especially around Cache Valley that I have loved doing sessions at. So if you are not close to home or not able to come up with a place to do your session, don’t worry we at Joi Studios have your back!

The lighting was perfect! Shooting at golden hour is a fantastic time for a session. Golden hour is the short window of time right after sunrise and again right before sunset. The air is filled with a flattering golden hue that’s perfect and it makes for some gorgeous pictures.

I love that throughout the sessions we were able to go to different places around the property and get different angles with different sceneries. Everywhere we went the cats would follow. Of course we had to get some pictures with the kids and the cats. Those made it fun for some sibling pictures. If they weren’t in the pictures they were at my feet trying to get them to not be in the pictures. Made it for a fun night. I enjoyed being with the Sant family, they were such a cute, fun family to be around and I loved that I got to cherish some of these precious times because we all know that kids grow WAY too fast!
