I had such a fun time with Joey’s session! She is expecting her first child, a little girl. She is such a beautiful mom to be! We focused on maternity pictures, but scheduled it as a family session. Then we were able to take some pictures with her fiancé to complete their first family photo.

This was a super special day for them. Not only were they get their maternity pictures done, but right before we met for their session he popped the question. Now they were officially engaged! It was such a beautiful day for pictures. It was a perfect crisp fall day and it was right at golden hour so the sun was perfect. The Exchange Place Parking Garage is a great place for a beautiful urban feel. You get the background of the beautiful mountains with overlook of the city! It is a little tricky finding the right parking garage entrance and it seems it is in the back of the garage how the maps takes you there. I am not one for parking garages, but was able to make it half way then chose to get my exercise the rest of the way!

Once the couple was able to find the right parking garage they had no problems driving all the way up to the top. Depending on how you’re feeling there are options for those like me, who are not a big fan of driving in parking garages. Joey was a natural and truly was glowing! Making the mom feel as beautiful, natural, and comfortable as possible is one of my main goals! From the smile on her face I hope that she felt all those things! It so fun to capture those beautiful moments when the soon to be mom holds their belly in awe and in love anticipating meeting their sweet bundle of joy. Congratulations to the both of them! Not only on their little girl, but also their engagement!
