Engagement sessions are some of the most exciting things for me to shoot as a photographer. This is the time when things start to feel real for you as a couple- you’re finally getting married! Whether you just got engaged a few weeks ago, or you’ve been engaged a few months, this is when it gets real. It’s actually happening! Now you get to take the cutest photos that you will be able to share with every single person you know! This is your time to shine, your moment together. I am always excited to be just a small part of the fun!

I love seeing how excited and giddy you two are during your session. My job as a photographer is to capture the moments where your fiancé is looking at you with pure love, joy, and excitement. The moments where you are just so happy you can’t stop giggling together. Of course, during our session, we will get the cute, posed photographs that your mom wants to show her friends. However, I try and focus on the two of you and those moments. I capture the in-between, the crinkled noses as you belly laugh, the literal heart eyes you have when you look at your soon-to-be spouse, and the times where you just can’t help but sneak in a kiss. (Fun fact, I will NEVER tell you not to kiss. Hello! That’s the best part!)

Engagement sessions are also a great time for all of us to get to know each other as well. You will quickly learn I have the energy of a puppy, I tell super lame jokes, and that I can’t but gush over how cute the two of you are and how much I love every single thing you do.
